The area of Jundola is situated 16 km north-west of the town of Velingrad, 1400 m above sea level, between the mountains of Rila and the Rhodopes.It is a mountain resort with plenty of small hotels and cozy bungalows; snack- bars and nice restaurants offering local specialties; ski slopes with ski- trails during the winter. It takes about 30 min ride from Velingrad, along the picturesque Lukovitza River
